The St. Genesius Prize

Purpose

The St. Genesius Prize was founded in 2016 and created to support and recognize those students, who through their Catholic education, Christian example, and dedication to the Performing Arts, carry on the spirit and mission of The Minty Organization.

Each recipient is asked to respond to the following question as part of the application: "Please describe how your Catholic education and being a member of the Catholic high school Performing Arts community on Staten Island has shaped you into the person you are today." Recipients of The Minty Organization's only monetary prize for students are determined by a panel of clergy, educators, and alumni.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the award:

  • Be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a Staten Island Catholic high school;
